The video uses sample data and example prices in the actual app interface. Booking submission is simulated; no real appointment, email, payment, or account changes are made.
Open your booking settings
Log in to NotaryCentral, open Menu, and search for Booking form. Select Manage booking form. You can also open your booking settings directly.
This page brings together your domain, availability, delivery locations, services, policies, additional charges, and online payment options.
Choose your booking link
- Select Edit beside Domain.
- Enter a short subdomain using letters and numbers, such as
janeexample. - Check the link preview and select Save.
Your link uses the format https://yourname.cal.notarycentral.org/. Return to Manage booking form to find and copy your saved link.
Set your availability
- Select Edit beside My availability.
- Enable the days when customers can request appointments.
- Review each day's start and end times. Use + Add Time Slot when you need more than one bookable period in a day.
- Select Save Availability.
The example offers weekday appointments from 9 AM to 5 PM. Choose hours that match your own schedule. If you connect Google Calendar, its schedule is also taken into account when presenting available times.
Add a delivery location
Open Delivery locations and select Add Location. Enter a name customers will understand, such as At my office, and select Save.
You will assign this location to your service in the next step. For other location options, see the booking form features overview.
Create your first service
Open Services I offer and select Add Service. Complete the form:
- Service Name and Description explain what the customer is booking.
- Delivery Location specifies where you provide that service.
- Base Fee sets the example's starting price. Review the other pricing fields for your service before saving.
- Duration (min) sets the appointment length.
- Buffer (min) lets you configure time between appointments.
The video creates Office notarization, with an example $10 base fee, a 30-minute duration, and a 15-minute buffer. Use your own service details and pricing, then select Save.
You can also add custom booking questions, assign appointment policies, and configure additional charge rules. Charge Client Upfront? and Online payment settings let you configure payment collection when needed.
Share your form
Return to Manage booking form and select Copy link. Share the booking address on your website, in a message, or in your email signature.
Before sharing it with customers, open the form yourself and review your service, location, price, duration, timezone, and available hours. To place the form on your own website, follow the booking portal embed guide.
For a referral partner or selected group of customers, you can also set up an additional booking link with its own service selection and pricing. These links stay unlisted and are reached through the address you share.
See how a customer requests a slot
- Choose a service. The customer reviews the service description, location, price summary, and estimated duration, then selects Next Step.
- Choose a date and time. They select an available day and a time slot. The form shows the timezone and appointment duration.
- Enter their details. They provide a name, email, and phone number, review who will pay, and identify the signer. In the video, John selects I am the signer.
- Review and submit. They review the appointment details, complete any service-specific questions or required policy acceptance, and select Schedule Appointment. Payment steps depend on your settings.
- Review confirmation. The confirmation shows the selected service, date, time, and duration.
